Mahindra Recall Scorpio and NuvoSport Over Troublesome Fluid Hose

Mahindra begins to recall Scorpio and NuvoSport after they find out about a faulty fluid hose.
M&M to recall Scorpio and NuvoSport manufactured till June 2016.

Mahindra & Mahindra, one of the leaders of SUV segment in India, has decided to recall Scorpio and NuvoSport in India. The total number of vehicles to be recalled has not been specified yet. The recall is for fixing a problematic fluid hose in the engine compartment.

What after they recall Scorpio and NuvoSport?

The company will individually check and sort out the issues with the fluid hoses. The customers will not have to pay anything for this.

The recall of next-generation Scorpio and NuvoSport includes all the vehicles manufactured till June 2016. The respective owners will be contacted by M&M itself.

M&M said that to make it a hassle-free procedure for the customers, the company is proactively carrying out the recall.

They further added that the recall is in compliance with Society of Indian Automobile Manufactures (SIAM) voluntary code on vehicle recall.

It seems like it is the recall time in the auto industry. In the previous month, M&M had recalled an unknown number of SsangYong Rexton due to a faulty rear driveshaft. Now, M&M recall Scorpio and NuvoSport. Volkswagen too is beginning its large-scale recall due to the emissions scandal with Skoda Superb.
