iPhone is one such product which has a mad following across the world and India is no exception to that. Shortly after Apple announced iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, some stores have started accepting pre-booking for the new iPhones. Yes, you read that right. Pre-booking new iPhones is on the table now. Undoubtedly, this is music to the ears of people who are really keen to get their hands on the new device.
Who all are offering pre-booking?
To name a few, iWorld, a premium Apple reseller in North India has started accepting pre-booking. Consumers can also book their phones through the website.
Unicorn, another premium Apple reseller has started accepting pre-orders for the advance payment of Rs. 5000. Unicorn has its presence in many states throughout India.
On the other hand, the two biggest electronic retail stores of the nation – Croma (Tata Group) and Reliance Digital (Reliance Industries) have not yet started taking pre-orders. Another leading store – Jumbo will start accepting pre-orders from next week.
In fact, Apple India itself is not accepting pre-booking currently.
Beetel Teletech Ltd, one of the distributors of Apple in India, has confirmed that they will start making the deliveries of the phones on October 7 at 7 pm. The sales person at both iWorld and Unicorn have said that they will start selling on October 7 sharply at 12 am. Rashi Peripherals, another chief distributor, will start selling on October 7. However, they did not confirm the time the sale is going to start.
