Motorola has recently announced about its upcoming Moto G4 Play Smartphone and it is the basic variant of the company’s Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus that were launched in India in May, this year. The smartphone will be going on sale from September 6, 2016, exclusively via Amazon India. The pricing details of the Moto G4 Play Smartphone have not yet been unveiled by the company.
The announcement about the launch of the smartphone was made through the Motorola India’s Twitter cover photo. Moto G4 Play Smartphone was launched in the US a day after Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus were launched. But according to an estimate of Zauba website, the smartphone may be available at a price around Rs. 8,999. The Moto G4 was launched at a price of Rs. 12,499 and Moto G4 Plus was launched at a price of Rs. 13,499.

The handset comes with a 5-inch HD display and a screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels.

The Moto G4 Play Smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC processor clocked at a clock frequency of 1.2GHz.

The device comes with a 2GB of RAM. It has also got an internal memory of 16GB that can be expanded up to 128GB using a micro SD card.
Android
It runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Camera
The rear camera of the smartphone is of 8-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Other rear camera features include auto HDR, burst mode, drag to focus & exposure, panorama, and can record full-HD videos at 30 fps. There is also a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel with display flash.
Colour Variants
The Moto G4 Play Smartphone will be available in only Black and White colours in India.
Battery
The device is backed by a 2800mAh battery and can spend the whole day on a single charge.
