This week box office is full and with the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, it is going to be huge. So, this week is going to be a Hallelujah for the movie fans, as the studios have got everything they need. From drama to Animation and thriller, its full packed up. Some of the best movies this week will not only entertain the audience, it will be more of a Thanksgiving for everyone. Coming this week, movies like Moana, Allied, Bad Santa and Rules Don’t Apply Here will be release to enthrall the folks.
Hey buddies, these are just the predictions about the movies this week. It is nothing to do with the reviews, so sit tight and plan out, which movie will be the one of your type.
Moana
The first Thanksgiving gift is by Walt Disney, that in the form of Moana which is one of the movies this week. Moana is an animated film featuring Dwayne Johnson as Maui a demigod and Auli’I Cravalho as Moana. The plot for the movie is, “On a mystic island in Polynesia, the 16-year-old strong-willed daughter of the chief of the tribe, Moana from Motunui Island, is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite the Heart of Te Fiti. She sets sail in search of Maui, a legendary demigod and hope to save her people.”
After seeing the trailer and teasers, the movie is going to be fantastic and will definitely get the A+ reviews from the fans. Isn’t that cool, Disney is bringing all the good materials for its viewers. Let’s see how the thing goes for Moana, one of the movies this week on the eve of Thanksgiving Day.
Allied
Romance during World War II, Holy Mary! Even thinking about it bring my guts out. The movie is a World War romantic thriller about two assassins who fall in love with each other, after they are assigned to kill a German official. Starring Brad Pitt in lead role, along with Marion Cotillard, supporting cast includes Jared Harris and others. Allied is one of the most anticipated movies this week. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the plot of the movie is based on real life story of Max Zatan (Brad Pitt).
The story also shows the backdrop of Nazis. Moreover, Robert Zemeckis has already given big movies like Cast Away, Contact and Flight which all did good business on box office and looking at his work, Allied is definitely going to do some nice business.
Bad Santa 2
Bad Santa is coming back to big screen after a span of 13 years. The last time we saw this movie was in 2003, so the thanksgiving got something for all of us. Bad Santa 2 is one of the awaited movies this week and if we take a good look at the business of last movie, it was stupendous. Bad Santa 2 is a 2016 American Christmas black comedy crime film directed by Mark Waters and written by Shauna Cross and Johnny Rosenthal. The movie stars Billy Bob Thornton, Tony Cox, Brett Kelly, and Kathy Bates in the lead roles.
Director Mark Waters has ton of wins with Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and The Spiderwick Chronicles. This good chart won’t affect his report card which also includes, Vampire Academy, Ghosts of Girlfriend Past and were not well received at box office.
Rules Don’t Apply
This is the first time when Warren Beatty will be behind the camera and at same time he is going to play the main role in this romantic comedy drama set in 1950’s. Rules Don’t Apply is completely different from the movies this week.
The plot follows, “In 1958, Marla Mabrey (Lily Collins), a devout Baptist beauty queen from Virginia and an aspiring actress, arrives in Hollywood only a few weeks after Frank Forbes (Alden Ehrenreich), Marla’s driver, an ambitious young businessman, and devout Methodist. Both of them long for success under their contracts with billionaire filmmaker, famed aviator, and notorious womanizer Howard Hughes (Warren Beatty). The pair has an instant attraction, but this is hindered by the strict rules laid down by Hughes that prohibit any romantic or sexual interaction between his employees.”
Though, the movie is different and the trailer is not that good, in fact it’s boring. But anything can happen, as I already said, these are just my predictions. The audience out there is completely unpredictable, so we may also get the positive reviews for the movies this week.
Also the next week, Incarnate is coming; it is a supernatural horror thriller. The movie stars Aaron Eckhart in lead role. For now, concentrate on the movies this week.
