Nobel awardee Kailash Satyarthi: Nobel awardee Kailash Satayarthi’s Prize has been burgled from his Delhi’s home in the early hours of Tuesday. Satyarthi is currently in the World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates in America. Thieves theft the replica of Noble Prize among other valuables. The original one has been kept at Rashtrapati Bhawan as per protocol.
The theft was disclosed by Satyarthi’s staff
As per the police, Staff of the social activist revealed the theft on Tuesday morning. Police suspect that the thieves were aware of the Nobel Prize placed in his home and mistook it for the original. But, it is yet uncleared if the thieves wanted only that. A FIR has been registered under section 380 IPC and still, the investigation is on to find out the buglers.
A manhunt has been launched FIR the suspects. Police have been detaining all the scrap dealers and local criminals from the area.

“Crime and forensic teams have been lifted fingerprints and other evidence from the spot, Alaknanda,” said an official.
The incident of burglary has been created a fear in the minds of Delhi residents as Satyarthi’s residence is located in South DelhAlaknandaarea.
The same incident had occurred last year on Novermber 29 at the residence of Senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor from where valuables things, including idols and copper Gandhi Glasses gifted by Prime Minister were stolen.
