Philippines President Duterte tells Obama to go to hell

Philippines President Duterte tells Obama to go to hell: Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte is not very happy with the American President, Barack Obama. Apparently, the American President Barack Obama has denied selling some of the weapons to the Philippines. And this seems to have annoyed the Philippines leader.

Not only this, but the infuriated leader also lashed out at the European Union before using abusive words for Barack Obama. The American President has denied selling ammunition to the Philippines since it does not support its anti-drug campaign.

Philippines President: Rodrigo Duterte

“Although it may sound shit to you, but I do have to take care of my Republic and the health of its people.” – Rodrigo Duterte

And he did not stop just there. As for the European Union, he said that it ought to go for purgatory since hell is already full.

Therefore, he(Duterte) said, he would be altering its foreign policy and will now have to “break up” with America.

And since America has denied the supply of weapons, the Philippines will now be taking supplies from China and Russia as these two have warmly welcomed the Philippines. He further added that China has been so supportive that it already is prepared for selling weapons to the Philippines as it has asked the Philippines to just sign the documents for once and rest will be taken care of.

How did America react –

Rodrigo Duterte’s comments came as a surprise for the USA. However, the US officials have called infuriated leader’s comments as trivial. They further said that Duterte’s comments were not in compliance with the decades’ old cordial relationship between the two countries. They were baffled by his comments as they agreed to still have cordial relations with the Philippines.

However the US press Secretary, Josh Earnest reacted to it in a similar tone as of Rodrigo’s. He said that they were willing to maintain cordial relations with Philippines but if such situation persists, they too won’t hesitate to question Philippines about the “extrajudicial killings”.
