Breast Cancer Awareness: October is observed as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month worldwide. Leading brands support the cause and help spread awareness in the month of October regarding Breast Cancer and support those suffering in their fight against it.
This year Avon has brought a different initiative for spreading awareness regarding it. The Twitterati is posting hashtag – “#PinkPoutSelfie” in their tweets to let the word spread.

And since then, people have been tweeting about it. Women have been posting the tweet with #PinkPoutSelfie hashtag along with a photo of them wearing a pout with pink lipstick.
That’s a trendy way to spread awareness about something so important.
The first use of a pink ribbon in connection with breast cancer awareness was done in 1991. That year Susan G. Komen Foundation handed out pink ribbons to participants in its New York City race for breast cancer survivors and since then pink colour has been used to spread awareness regarding Breast Cancer.
With Avon’s initiative, so many people have been intimated about the significance of awareness for Breast Cancer.
