Punjab Polls 2017: Bhartiya Janta Party is all set to campaign for BJP-SAD alliance. The campaign will hit by the Star campaigner of BJP Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday at PAP Ground, Jalandhar in Punjab where he will address a public meeting. This time the polls will be interesting and tough or outcomes could be unexpected as the triangular competition would be amid three parties Congress, BJP and AAP.
Punjab Polls 2017: Modi will address a rally in Kotakpura
On Sunday, Modi will visit border state again to address another rally at Kotkapura in Faridkot district before taking a break for the budget session commencing on January 31. He will also visit Ludhiana for one address people to Vote for BJP-SAD.
SAD will be managed the Kotakpura rally. According to sources, both Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah will campaign widely in the five poll-bound states to highlights the achievements of the central government.
The party has not yet announced its chief ministerial candidates in four states other than Punjab, where Cm Parkash Singh Badal-led Akali Dal leads the alliance government.
On these rallies, a larger number senior leaders and Union ministers will show its achievements while showing its untainted image in two-and-a-half years and will also oppose the Previous UPA government for several scams.
Prominent faces from the party are slotted to campaign in poll-bound states
Party members will highlight the government’s zero tolerance for corruption which was the main objectives of BJP in 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Name of senior leaders like Arun Jaitley, Ramlal, Narendra tomar and Avinash Rai are slotted to campaign in Punjab. Most of the leaders from the party such as Amit Shah Rajnath Singh are already in poll-bound states to campaign. Shah is in Goa and Singh is touring Punjab.
The party has asked a large number of OBC members including UP unit president Keshav Prasad Maurya, Swami Prasad Maurya and OBC Morcha chief Dara Singh to hold nukkad rallies in their representative regions in UP. To better interaction with common people, they have been asked to travel by road.
On the other hand, Shah will release the party manifesto for the UP Polls on Saturday and this will be the major event of the party. The manifesto will focus on empowerment of Dalits and most backwards classes.
