Golmaal Franchise is coming back with its fourth instalment which is as per the reports will be titled as ‘Golmaal Again’. Though the shoot for the movie is supposed to start by the end of this year and due to Kareena Kapoor’s pregnancy, the team was looking for the replacement of Kareena for the fourth instalment of Golmaal.
Though there was a strong buzz that Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are the top contenders to play the female lead in Golmaal 4, but the latest media reports suggest that Shraddha Kapoor might come on board to star opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Golmaal again’.
This is a surprise package that has come forward in the name of Shraddha Kapoor, as she was nowhere in the race. And Alia or Deepika were thought to be top contenders for the big-budget movie. According to the murmuring gossips, it is said that when director Rohit Shetty was planning about Golmaal 4, he was clear that he would also cast a younger heroine in the film this time.
And that is the reason that Shraddha came to Rohit’s mind and has been his preference for the role.
However, other than Kareena, the movie cast including actors Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar and Shreyas Talpade will reprise their roles from the franchise in this instalment. The film will go on floors in December this year and will release in Diwali 2017.
