Terrorist Target Indian Army Camp at Nagrota Jammu and Kashmir:Three Indian soldiers were martyred in a terror attack on an army artillery unit in Nagrota, Jammu and Kashmir on 29th November. The terrorists attacked the camp in the wee hours around 5:30 with grenades. Firing has since been ongoing between the Indian Armed Forces and the terrorists. At least four terrorists have been accounted for.
Nagrota houses the headquarters of the army’s 16 Corps, a massive military formation that defends the borders and fights terrorists in the Jammu region.
The highway is closed off for traffic, as Nagrota which is just around 20kms from Jammu. Schools have also been closed down. The Army has cordoned off the entire surrounding area.
Samba Jammu and Kashmir
Two terrorists were killed by the Border Security Force, as it intercepted a group of terrorists trying to cross over at the International border between India and Pakistan at Ramgarh in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba region.
It seems the terrorists are trying desperate measures to infiltrate into the Indian Side. Their attempts are being foiled by the Indian Armed Forces at every step.

Firing began at Nagrota at around 5:30 am this morning when the terrorists attacked the Army unit.

Meanwhile, the state administration has ordered shutting down of schools in Nagrota.

At Samba, BSF personnel retaliated after a patrol was fired upon by miscreants holed up in a tube well pump house.

The Indian Army has witnessed a massive rise in the attempts by the terrorists since India’s surgical strikes which was a defining response for the URI attacks carried by the terrorists in which 19 soldiers were martyred.
