The Flash season 3 is not halfway down the series and what we got to know is, who Dr. Alchemy is? Hold on guys soon that will be revealed. Barry Allen did the most stupid thing of his life, when he created a Flashpoint and then reversing it bringing many bad characters along with him. Since the Flash return, characters like Jesse Quick and Wally West became the new speedsters along with a new Harrison Wells who is completely dumb in science compared to the previous one. Stay put! He also brought two new big baddies, and they are Dr. Alchemy and Savitar.
Face of Dr. Alchemy
Last night’s episode, “Killer Frost” was all about Caitlin who’s trying to hold her dangerous persona of Killer Frost. But the final moments of The Flash episode revealed the identity of Dr. Alchemy when Savitar’s voice woke him (Dr. Alchemy). Alright, time to unveil the mystery of Dr. Alchemy; he is none other than Barry Allen’s (The Flash) teammate Julian (Tom Felton). Many fans theorized that Julian could be the Alchemy. Moreover, this is not the first time that an ally of The Flash comes out to be the antagonist of the show.
Mix up with DC Flash Comics
Apart from that, it is not the first time that Tom Felton played the role of Villain. He played the role of famous Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise. The Flash took their inspiration for Dr. Alchemy in the show from the Curtis Engstrom (Alchemist) version in the comics. In fact, Julian was not a criminal minded guy; he was an intelligent man trying to do some good deeds through his works. Engstrom other the other hand, worked at Star Labs and was smart and intelligent in his work. So this is something unexpected from the producers, or we can also say that it’s a mix up between comics and the flash series.
Third heartbreak for Barry in a row
So far, there has been no mentioning of how Julian became Alchemy and how he attained his powers. This might be exciting for many fans of the flash, as they would be seeing again the bad side of Tom Felton. For some people it might be heart breaking, because they were feeling the sufferings faced by Julian. Additionally, fans would not be happy as Julian (Tom Felton) may not return for The Flash Season 4. Besides, the big shock for Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash (Grant Gustin) is yet to come when he will come to know about Dr. Alchemy’s real identity. He already faced the two back to back betrayals. How the previous Harrison Wells betrayed him and proved to be the main villain of The Flash season 1. In Season 2 it was Hunter Zoloman who turned out to be Zoom.
How Barry will stop Savitar
One thing we may also get to see, if Barry (The Flash) breaks the spell created by Savitar under whom Julian (Dr. Alchemy) is working and makes him the regular team member. Still it’s too early to say all these things, but yes anything can happen in Central City. I am keeping my fingers crossed to see Tom Felton for next few seasons, all on the good side.
