The match starts with a very quick run scoring from Mumbai’s batsmen but Finally with more perfection Gujarat have won the 9th match of IPL 9 2016. Gujarat Lions has won the match by 3 wickets.
Man of the match is awarded to Aaron Finch with 67 runs on 54 ball. He won the title for his great gameplay and quick adaptation for making the team strong and led to winning the match.
In the first innings, Rohit Sharma and Parthiv Patel came on the crease but this time, Rohit could not make it set a good target and was out on Kulkarni’s Ball. Then Pandya also caught out soon after Rohit; now Butler and Patel is working to set a good score until Butler was stumped out on the 8th over followed by Pollard soon after him. Then enters Rayudu but Patel too could not manage and was out and also wickets falls continuously with a few over intervals like Harbhajan, Rayudu, and Southee and finally set a target of 143 for the Gujarat batsmen.
In the second innings, Finch and Brendon McCullum step into the crease. There was fill of action at first over but McCullum was out on 2nd over itself, then Raina enters. Now the situation was under control until on 8th overs Raina was out on McClenaghan ball. Soon after that Dinesh Karthik, Dwayne Bravo, Akshdeep Nath, Faulkner and P Kumar wickets fall with an interval of overs till 18th over. Finally, Kulkarni and especially Finch have managed to win the match with the hit four and score 147 runs to victory.
