Oakland, California: In the city there has been an introduction of the new rule for the safety of nature and protection of animals. Smoking has been banned in 65 East Bay regional parks which was newly allotted by a San Francisco Bay Area recreation agency for terminating smoking of Tobacco in the park.
According to the news of the East Bay Times reports, it has been told that the East Bay Regional Park District will now keep an air clean from cigarettes butts and also beaches, bays and wild lands clean from waste to prevent damage to the fish and animals.
Before in the districts, smoking was allowed in the park but now smoking is ban. But the source also said that smoking is still allowed during the night time on overnight campgrounds.
There has been also a rule which is considered as illegal to smoke medical marijuana anywhere in parks. And those who violate the rule, then the person will be given verbal warnings at first but later he or she will have to face severe action of the authority.
Parks spokeswoman Carolyn Jones said that the person who violates the rule would be given verbal warnings.
