Donald Trump and China: Donald Trump, the multi-billionaire who has been recently elected as the 45th US President has been quite vocal about taking strict actions against the great “cheater” China. He had earlier said while campaigning that if he acquires the Presidential post, he’d teach China a lesson by increasing tariff on import of Chinese goods to 45%.

Recently, a Chinese daily replied saying that it would be a grave mistake by Trump and he would be a “fool” if he decided to initiate a trade war against China. The daily further highlighting the repercussions of the intended move of Trump said that it would be the US industries who would suffer as a consequence and ultimately Trump will be condemned for the move being termed as ignorant and incompetent.

Donald Trump agreed with Xi and believed that the trade ties between the two countries can be closely engaged and further enhanced. It is said that the two will be meeting soon to talk further on strengthening the trade ties between the US and China.
