Bill Gates Niti Aayog: Bill Gates presented a lecture in New Delhi at Niti Aayog on “Transforming India”. PM Narendra Modi and many other leading personalities were present at the event. He said that technology can greatly benefit India by improving various areas like sanitation, health, care, governance and agriculture.

He said that Indian Economy will largely benefit from the Artificial Technology that is sought to be increasingly used in India in the coming future.
Gates was all praises for the Aadhar Card scheme and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna that helped the masses of India connect to the banking system increasingly. Overall Bill Gates said that there is a huge potential for India to become the most digitized economy in mere seven years.
Commenting on the demonetization move by PM Narendra Modi, he said, it is a “bold move” that help in deflating the shadow economy of India.
“The Prime Minister’s bold move to demonetize high-value denominations and replace with the new notes with high-security features is an important step to deflate India’s Shadow Economy…has all the pieces in place for a compelling vision for digital financial inclusion. Aadhar will convert a cumbersome, paper-based account opening process into a thirty second all digital system”, said the businessman and philanthropist Bill Gates.
