Out of Indian bowling unit,Mohammed Shami and Ravichandran Ashwin took one wicket each. Whereas Ravinder Jadeja, Jayant Yadav and Umesh Yadav struck two wickets each.
After winning the toss, England’s Batsman could not capitalise the opportunity to put pressure on the Indian bowling unit. Until the lunch , the English team has lost the 4 wickets on the score of 92/4 and then the middle order batsman tried to create some partnership and not losing wickets. The partnership between Bairstow and Buttler went good and looked steady but then both lost their wickets till the second break.
If England were struggling at the end of the first session after a flurry of wickets, their middle-order made sure they steadied the ship and put the visitors in a safe position of 205/5 at tea on Day 1 of the final Test against India at Mohali.
