USA – To overcome the sluggish sales, PepsiCo declared the return of Crystal Pepsi Cult Soda, this week. As per the New York-based soda company, PepsiCo’s radiant soda will become available in the U.S. and Canadian market late this summer.
However, the availability of Crystal Soda will be for a limited timeframe starting from July 11th in a Canadian market and from 8th of August in the U.S. market. The company is expected to sell 20-ounce bottles at major retail stores.
Pepsi Cult Soda was a favourite beverage in the 90s and was sold for a brief timeframe starting from 1992 to 1994. However, the company had to pull out the product owing to the lagging sales. The soda sell is to make a comeback with a #BringBackCrystalPepsi online campaign.
According to Stacy Taffet, the marketing director, Crystal Pepsi always had a special place in our heart and company has witnessed tremendous support to bring back the product.
