Assassination of Russian ambassador: A new video has surfaced of killing Russia’s Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov by an attacker. The video has gone viral on almost every social media platform. He was shot dead by an attacker when he was making a speech at a painting exhibition in Ankara exhibition hall.
The attacker was identified as 22-years-old Mevlut Mert Altintas, had worked for Ankara riot police for two and a half years, standing restlessly behind the ambassador, who was delivering his speech.

Karlove was shot dead on Monday while attending an art exhibition at contemporary Arts Gallery in Ankara’s central Cankaya district by a Turkish police man who shouted: “Don’t forget Aleppo” and “Allahu akbar” (God is great). As Karlove began his speech, Altintas took out his gun and shot the envoy.
After killing him he waved his gun and gestured in the air. He was dressed in a black suit and tie. After shooting the Russian envoy, Altintas shouted: “Don`t forget Aleppo, don`t forget Syria!”
Turkey government held a state ceremony at Ankara’s Esenoga Airport while sending assassinated Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlove’s body to his country, who was shot dead on Monday.
Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Tugrul Turkes, Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu as well as a number of Russian and Turkish officials, foreign diplomats, and political figures attended the ceremony on Tuesday.
