Chinese Official media warns the US in its editorial: The official media of China warned on Friday about the launching of a large-scale war with the US if it doesn’t let China from acessing the artificial islands that China built in the South China sea.
Tillerson, who has been nominated by US President-elect Donald Trump as the Secretary of State had said about the issue – “first the island building stops, and second your access to those islands is also not going to be allowed.”

The editorial also said that the comments by Tillerson are not meant to be taken seriously since he is short-sighted. It further warned the US that in case what he said is materialised, it would be disastrous for the states.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lu Kang said in his recent statement that the US and China share a lot many common interests and play a key role for the maintainence of the international peace and security being the permamnet members of the United Nations Security Council – “China and the US cooperation has brought tremendous benefits to the two countries and the two peoples and Beijing hopes to maintain that momentum.”
