Air India offer for New Year: The popular Airline company, Air India has put up a New Year 2017 sale which would be applicable for one-way journeys in the economy-class for select flights within India. In its ‘Fares to celebrate’ scheme, the flight fares are starting from Rs 849.
The booking period that has been set up for the flights under this scheme is December 27 to December 31 for the flights between January 15 to April 30, 2016.
Air India offer for domestic flights extends until December 31
For the routes of Chennai to Coimbatore, Bengaluru to Hyderabad the fare prices start from Rs 849, while for Delhi to Bengaluru flights the fares have been reduced to Rs 2599. For the Mumbai to Goa route, Air India is charging Rs 1499 only.
Some other major routes under this scheme are Bengaluru to Chennai at Rs 1199, Mumbai to Bengaluru at Rs 1599 and for Srinagar to Delhi at Rs 1999.
Similarly, the rival Airlines – Spicejet launched the ‘Spicy Annual sale’ in which the fare prices are starting from merely Rs 737 inclusive of all taxes for flights from January 9 to October 28, 2017.
Many other Airlines have also rolled out similar offers for the New Year. Recently, Indigo Airlines had announced fares starting from Rs 999. Yet another Jet carrier, Jet Airways announced its scheme ‘Best Fares Forever’ under which the fares are starting from Rs 990. The scheme varies for different6 flights and the time period till which the scheme is valid is also different under different Airline’s schemes.
