Well Well Well!! The pairing of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was not just enough for Ayan Mukerji’s upcoming directorial super-hero movie ‘Dragon’ that now the Megastar of the century Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen sharing the screen with Ranbir and Alia in the movie.

This news has certainly raised the hopes of the audience even higher and the Senior Bachchan’s appearance in the film will not be any cameo but he will be seen playing a pivotal role.

What the sources say about joining of Amitabh Bachchan in Dragon?

However, there’s no more information available about the character and role of Mr Bachchan but it is confirmed that he will be a part of the movie. According to the source close to the development says that “He(Amitabh Bachchan) has given his nod for the film. It’s a full-fledged role and not a guest appearance. It’s an important role. He will begin to shoot this year itself.”

The golden period is looking to start for the industry as some of the unexpected pairs are coming in together. After Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen together, this would also be the first time that the megastar and Ranbir will be teaming up for a film.

Although Mr Bachchan has worked with Ranbir’s father and actor Rishi Kapoor in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Coolie, Naseeb, Ajooba among others.

What do we know so far about the movie?

Talking about the movie, ‘Dragon’ is said to be superhero film which has a mythological backdrop and Ranbir’s character has powers to emit fire. The Wake Up Sid helmer is reportedly planning a three-film franchise of Dragon, but only if the first part succeeds.

The 74-year-old star will be next seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s “Sarkar 3” that releases on April 7. After that, he has Vijay Krishna Acharya’s “Thugs of Hindostan” in which he will for the first time share screen space with Aamir Khan. Ranbir, meanwhile, has Jagga Jassos and the biopic on Sanjay Dutt which will be helmed by Rajkumar Hirani.
