The Egyptian aviation official says that an Egypt Air Flight with 66 passengers and some crew on board has crashed while coming from Paris to Cairo and the search team is now underway for Derbis. The officials also say that “it is confirmed the plane has been crashed,” and as the plane hasn’t not landed at any of the nearest airports and hasn’t seen on the Radar yet.The officials were not authorized to speak to the press because they spoke on condition of anonymity.
The air control room said, the Egypt Air Flight 804 was flying at 37,000 feet and the Flight 804 was stopped responding radar at the local time at 2.45 am and Airbus A320 had vanished within 10 miles [16 kilometers] after entering the Egyptian airspace at the same time.
The Egyptian Military aircraft were searching for the both missing plane. The flight 804 was carrying 56 passengers, including one child and two babies and 10 crew members on board. The pilot of flight 804 had 6,000 flight hours. The airline said earlier that 69 people were on board.
The last contact with flight 804 was made 10 minutes before it disappeared from the radar. Egypt’s local official newspaper AL-Ahram stated an airport official as saying the pilot did not send a distress call before the crashed. Official did not identify it.
The company’s spoke man said, “we have no official information at this stage of the certitude of an accident”. The Paris airport authority and the civil aviation authority would not immediately comment and soon they would response about incident.
Information about the vanished plane sent out to the U.S Federal Aviation Agency were not returned early Thursday.
The French president Francois Hollande and the Egyptian president Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi both spoke on the phone and agreed to “closely cooperate to establish as soon as possible the circumstances” in which the flight 804 disappeared, according to a statement issued in Paris.
French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said, no scenario could be ruled out at the moment as for what caused the plane to disappear. France, If the Egyptian authorities requested to join the search operation team, he told RTL radio that he was “ready.”
Its about 15 passengers on board related to missing flight have arrived at Cairo airport. Airport authorities called in a doctors to the scene after several distressed family members collapsed.
Neither France’s Ministry nor Interior Ministry would comment on the disappearance of flight or on whether it could have been an attack by terrorist or hijack.The official Hellenic National Defence General Staff said, Greece joined the search and rescue operation for the Egypt Air flight with two aircraft, one is C-130 and another early warning aircraft. They also said, one frigate was heading to the area and helicopters are on standby on the southern island of Karpathos for potential or recovery operations.
They are looking for some pieces of aircraft and any clue of the crashes. If they find out the crash area, they will try to get the Black Box of missing flight 804. Black box is one of the most important evidence for the searching team, where the information about all communications of pilot were recorded.
