According to the experts, Lakshmi Puja needs to be done in the Pradosh Kaal that will last for 2 hours and 24 minutes after the sunset.

Choghadiya Muhurat is good only for travelling and not performing the pooja. During the Pradosh Kaal, the Sthir Lagna is the best time to perform pooja. Hence, on the Amavasya, when the Pradosh Kaal is there along with the Sthir Lagna, the Lakshmi Puja and Ganesh Puja are done according to the puja vidhi.
