Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that he will start his campaign for the upcoming assembly election by his own soon. Declaring that just like there was nobody to name him when he was a child, Akhilesh said that he was not going to wait for anyone to begin campaigning for future elections.
“Bachpan mein, mera naam mujhe khud rakhna pada (When I was a child, there was no one to name me). In the same way, I think I will have to start my election campaign on my own, without waiting for anyone,” Yadav was quoted as saying to the Times of India.
Yadav’s reaction came days after the dispute between his uncle Shivpal Yadav reportedly changed the list of Candidates backed by the Yadav for the upcoming elections. Repeating that he can be sidelined for the time being, however cannot be defeated said, CM Yadav.
People will return me Power to serve them again
He further said the people of UP have faith in me and they will surely return me power to serve them. “I can deliver so much despite being inexperienced called by the opposition, then people also understand very well that I can take the state to the great heights in my next innings,” said Akhilesh.
Yadav is confident to win because of his development in the state in his five years of tenure. He said,” I am not being pompous. But just like a perfect batsman whose runs flow from his bat and make records, accordingly, my work will ensure my return to power”.

AT the same time Yadav has also blamed the media for blowing the issue out of proportion, however confessed that the turn of events has delayed his poll campaign. He said the experience that I got from my hostel life which taught me how to deal with all types of troubles and Lohia’s principles have also taught me to struggle but without violence.
