After Indian team’s domination over the Blackcaps in the Test Match series, the Kiwis will be looking for a revenge in the ODI series that is starting from October 16th. The Kiwis lost the Test series by a clean sweep (3-0) to the Indian squad and will be looking ahead to perform well in the ODI series.
India will play the first ODI match against the Kiwis in Dharamshala on Sunday, October 2016 and Indian cricket fans have been waiting for the series from quite long.
India is currently on the fourth spot in ICC ODI team rankings with 110 points and the New Zealand is on the 3rd spot with 113 points. So in order to take over the Kiwis, Indians are supposed to win the five-match series by 4-1.

However, the New Zealand team has never won a bilateral ODI series in India. The two teams have faced off in the country four times before in 1988, 1995, 1999 and 2010 and all four series were won by the hosts. In the last series in 2010, the Kiwis suffered a heavy 0-5 defeat.
