India vs England: Why England Has to Fight Really Hard to Continue Its Winning Momentum?

With the arrival of the India vs England T20I series is just around the edge and English team is now has got some moral support with its last ODI match victory against the Indians. But it was a hard earned victory for the England but a victory is a victory especially a hard-fought victory gives a high moral than an easy victory.

The upcoming three T20I match series is going to be a good test for the both teams ahead of the prestigious Champions Trophy, that will be hosted in England. Both the teams didn’t have a good last year in the T20I games as they also played very few shortest format games.

India lost in Semis and England in Final against same West Indies in ICC World Cup T20I.

Both the teams were exceptionally good in the World ICC T20I Cup in 2016, as Indian team lost to West Indies in the Semi-final but the England goes through to the final and gave a really tough fight to the West Indies, but lost with the help of an exceptionally tremendous inning by Craig Braithwaite.

What figures say for both the teams India vs England T20 Series?

Talking figurately, other than the ICC World T20I Cup, India and England played really very few T20I games. Both the teams played more of the Test games and as result, India is now ranked at the top position in ICC World Test Ranking. India played just 5 T20I games, out of which it played three against Zimbabwe and two against West Indies.

India won two games against Zimbabwe but also lost one. And lost one against Zimbabwe and one ended in no result. On the other side, England played just two games other than the World T20 Cup. England lost one against Pakistan whereas won the other against Sri Lanka.  This T20I series will be the first of the year 2017 for both the teams

So, this series is going to be a test for both the teams and their potential to turn by mindset to the shortest format game from the Test and ODI’s.
