Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos’s Ex-Wife MacKenzie Scott filed for divorce from second husband Dan Jewett after two years of marriage on Monday.
Washington: On Monday Mackenzie a billionaire philanthropist filed for divorce in Washington State’s King County Superior Court. According to the sources Jewett did not file for divorce. The division of property has been agreed in the contract but has not been disclosed yet.
Jewett was working as a science teacher in a prestigious school where Mackenzie’s children studied. They two meet there for the first time. After 3 years of separation from Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie got married to Dan Jewett in a private ceremony in march 2021.
It was first noted when Mackenzie dropped dan Jewett’s name from all the pledges they signed together for. On the Giving Pledge site, his name no longer appears to be with Mackenzie anymore. She removed second husband’s name from her bio as well.
In three years she has donated 12 billion to charity from her $32 billion worth.

After 25 years of marriage, Mackenzie got divorced from Jeff as he was found cheating on her. She married again in a private ceremony with Dan Jewell after three years of separation from Jeff.
