LeEco Le Max 3 could borrow the chasis of it's predecessor, Le Max 2.

LeEco Le Max 3, the upcoming flagship device by LeEco, has just got the certified in China by TENAA (Chinese telecommunication regulatory authority). It will be launched in December. It features upgraded hardware along with a bigger battery than its predecessor (Le Max 2).

Now, let us have a quick look at the specifications and features of this upcoming flagship smartphone.

Display

The LeEco Le Max 3 will come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD (2560×1440) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 516ppi.

Processor

The smartphone will flaunt the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked up to 2.34GHz along with Adreno 530 to handle the intense graphics seamlessly.

Storage

The variant that has been certified has 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. However, we believe that another variant will be launched with 6GB RAM and 128/256GB ROM option.

Camera

It has a dual-camera (13MP+13MP) setup on the rear with an impressive 16MP selfie camera.

OS

Th LeEco Le Max 3 will be running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. An OTA update for Android 7.0 Nougat will be soon rolled out.

Communications

In terms of communication, all the tools will onboard for including Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C support.

Features

Just like its Predecessor, it will feature a fingerprint scanner along with support for fast charging.

Battery

It will be powered by a monstrous 3900mAh cell to keep the lights on.

The model listed on TENAA bears the model number X850. The LeEco Le Max 3 will weigh in at 185 grams. It will not be the slickest device as the thickness has been hinted to be 7.99mm. But that is a sacrifice that had to be made for the bigger battery.

The main highlight of the phone is going to be its camera as well the huge battery that it houses. The dual-camera will come in handy for clicking sharp images while the 16MP front camera will be excellent for selfies.

Price and availability

There is no word on the price or the number of variants it will have. However, it will be launched in December and will reach the Indian soil sometime in early 2017. It will be available in two colour variants – Coffee Grey and Gold Charm.
