Pakistan troops have again violated ceasefire in Shahpur sector of Poonch, J&K. They employed to firing on Indian posts and the Line of Control in Poonch. Pakistan army troops violated ceasefire many times within a week after the surgical strike carried out by the Indian army on the LOC in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Army official told that our troops are countering aptly and there are no casualties in this firing; however, the firing is still going on.
Meanwhile, local police said that the barter of fire is still going in Shahpur Kandi area along LOC in Poonch, J&K. On the other hand, terrorist attacked the army camp in Baramulla, J&K in Sunday night in which one soldier and two terrorists were killed and the soldier got injured. The firing is still going on between the security personnel and terrorist who are hidden in a nearby house at the bank of Jhelum river.
Pakistan has violated ceasefire several times by firing on Indian army posts along LoC in Akhnoor sector in Jammu district. Because of violating ceasefire by the Pakistani army in the last year, around 16 Civilians were killed and 71 others injured. Along with international Border total, 253 incidents of ceasefire violations took place and 152 were reported including LoC.
