14 June 2016: According to new research study, it is found that most of the women face problems and difficulties during pregnancy due to low birth weight.
Those women who are born with low birth weight experience stress during pregnancy and stress during pregnancy is a risk for the offspring.
Jean Ni Cheong, a researcher from the University of Melbourne, has in his research study found out that low birth weight or stress during pregnancy can create a complication and risk. He said that stress can cause harm effect of metabolic, adrenal and cardio- renal after the birth of a child.
Cheong said that low birth weight and stress during pregnancy can affect a mother’s health for the rest of her life.
The prior research has shown that the mother born with low birth weight and experiencing stress during pregnancy can affect the baby’s health of mind and body.
The researchers have found that the main reason for low birth weight is that limited oxygen, nutrients and blood supply can lead a baby to born with low birth weight.
The researchers again made a research on a woman after giving birth to a baby, and they found out that low birth weight and stress during pregnancy affects the cardiovascular, kidney, adrenal and metabolic health of mother after pregnancy.
Cheong said that this is the main reason why most of the women face complications during their pregnancy, and sometimes even lead to loss of the baby.
Mary Wlodek, a Professor of Melbourne university has provided a long – term health implications for the women born with low birth weight and stress during pregnancy keeping the interest of the life of a mother and a child.
Wlodek said that proper involvement and advice in this situation would help the women to save her life and the baby and more research is needed to be explored regarding the effect of low birth weight and stress during pregnancy with solutions to the problem.
