The movie was written and directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and was produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Motion Pictures and Ashutosh Gowarikar Productions Pvt. Ltd. (AGPPL). The talented Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde are in lead role in the movie.
The Hrithik’s future depends on the performance of the movie on box office as he has not done any movie from two years. Will the movie will go upto the mark or not is really very crucial for Hrithik’s future as well as for the makers of the movie. The movie is based on a unique theme that is not made before. The story reveals a farmer (Hrithik) who goes to Mohenjo Daro and fight against his enemies to save their civilization.

Although the first day collection of the movie was nice, but failed to lead Akshay’s Rustom whose first day collection was 13-15 Crores. So, this time Akshay’s movie has won over the Hrithik’s Mohenjo Daro. Moving ahead, if we talk about the second day collection of the movie, it was Rs 9.29 crores*. So, the total box office collection of Mohenjo Daro was Rs 18.87 crores*.
