MP Jailbreak: Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has submitted its security audit report to Madhya Pradesh government on Bhopal Central jail from where eight SIMI militants carried out the daring jailbreak and late killed in Police encounter. The agency has suggested to deploy more security and technical surveillance at the high-security facility.

The report has been prepared by the CISF experts for the jail in the state capital recommending experts augmentation of human resource and infusion of latest gadgetry and technology was suggested for making the jail security foolproof, said a senior official.
The proposed security features include improving perimeter security, installation of more CCTV cameras and strict monitoring of entry and exit in the prison premises.
The eight SIMI undertrials had run away from the high-security central jail on 30-31 October after murdered a guard, but they were killed by the Police in an alleged encounter on the outskirts of the city on 31 October morning.
Paramilitary will audit the report of other three jails in the State
The government, the force said, has further consulted with the central paramilitary to prepare a security and fire safety audit report of three other jails in the state Indore, Jabalpur, and Gwalior.
“Appreciating the consultancy services rendered by our experts to the Bhopal jail, the state government has now requested us to further provide the same expertise to three other jails located in Madhya Pradesh. Our teams will soon conduct the audit of these jails too,” CISF director general OP Singh said.
The force is providing consultancy to 134orgaisations
The force’s special consultancy wing conducts government and public audit of critical installations and establishment and suggest them the essential requirement of access-control, deployment of watch towers and sentry post, usage of gadgets and positioning of security personnel and surveillance gadgets to increase protection.
The consultancy wing is there since the force was established. The force does this task on the government-approved fee and till now it has provided consultancy to a total of 134 organizations till now.
TISCO Limited, Bangalore Metro, the National Security Guard (NSG) headquarters here, Allahabad High Court, Tirumala Tirupati and Devsthanam in Tirupati, British High Commission in the national capital and assemblies of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are one of the clients of the CISF.
