Police have arrested two close aides of Parminder Singh aka Penda on Tuesday from Dehradun who is alleged mastermind of daring Nabha Jailbreak in Punjab. Police is suspecting that the planning of the jailbreak may have been at their hiding place in Dehradun.

The two have been identified as Geeta Arora and Aditya Mehra. Aditya Mehra is an aide of Penda and Geeta is the wife of his close friend Sunil Arora, with whom he was staying in a rented house in Raipur area in Dehradun. But, Penda’s friend Sunil along with other supporters managed to flee from the spot. Sunil was staying with the aroras for six months before he left the city five days ahead of the jailbreak to carry out it.
Several bullets fake stuff recovered by the police from their hideout
SSP Sadanand Dae told PTI that the Nabha Jailbreak in Punjab was most likely planned in their hideout in the city. Police have recovered several fake vehicle number plates, voter IDs, Sim Cards, mobile phones, bullets, materials used for making bombs and Rs 2 lakh from the house where the two were arrested, said SSP. Khalistan Liberation Front Chief Harminder Singh Mintoo, one of the escapist of the Nabha jailbreak in Punjab was arrested from Nizamuddin railway station on Monday.
