Padmavati Deepika Padukone: The shoot of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has finally been geared up after a lot of delays. It is being said that Deepika Padukone is all set to learn a new dance form called, “Ghoomar” for the shoot of a song in Padmavati.
The dance sequence will be shot on a set constructed at the Mehboob Studio. Sanjay Leela Bhansali has apparently recreated the queen’s Water Palace from the Chittorgarh fort for the song. He is known for creating lavish sets in his movies like he did in Bajirao Mastani and Saanwariya.

Deepika to learn “Ghoomar”
Deepika Padukone will be learning a new dance form called, “Ghoomar”. She had also learned a different dance form for the shoot of the song “Deewani Mastani” in Bajirao Mastani.
Deepika will be seen experimenting with her look in the movie while the sources have said that she has commenced her “look-test”. As for the two male lead actors, they too have undergone a drastic makeover for their roles in the movie.
In the movie, Shahid Kapoor will be seen as Rajput king Rana Ratan Singh of Chittor and Ranveer as the Sultan of Delhi, Alauddin Khilji.
It is said that Ranveer and Shahid have not been talking much on the sets as a tussle between the two persists. Ranveer had asked Sanjay Leela Bhansali to reduce Shahid’s role to a cameo. This enraged Shahid who apparently threatened to leave the shooting of the movie in the mid.
