Panasonic P55 Max Smartphone launched in India at Rs. 8,499

Panasonic has unveiled its latest device Panasonic P55 Max Smartphone in the Indian market at a price of Rs. 8,499. The smartphone comes with a 3GB of RAM and 5000mAh battery for the ultra backup. It will be exclusively available via Flipkart in Matte Black and Champagne Gold colour variants.

As per the speculations, the smartphone is a completion to other smartphones that were recently launched in India like Moto E4 Plus and Nubia N2 that come with a battery backup of 5000mAh.

The Panasonic P55 Max Smartphone features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display.


It is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor clocked at a clock frequency of 1.25GHz.


The device comes with a 3GB of RAM and an internal memory of 16GB that can be further expanded up to 128GB using a micro SD card.

Operating System

The handset runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.


On the camera front, the Panasonic P55 Max Smartphone comes with a rear camera of 13-megapixel with quad-LED flash. There is also a front-facing camera of 5-megapixel on the smartphone.

Measurements and Weight

It measures 152×72.6×8.7mm and weighs 180 grams.


The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery.

On the connectivity front, the device offers standard connectivity features like Bluetooth 4.0, 4G VoLTE connectivity, Micro USB 2.0, OTG and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.
