IIFA Awards 2017: The 18th segment of the International Indian Film Academy Awards was held on July 15, 2017, in New York. The event was a star studded one that honoured the best Hindi films of 2016. There were a lot of Bollywood celebrities who attended the grand ceremony including Salman Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sonakshi Sinha.
Karan Johar and Saif Ali Khan added a flavour of excitement to the event with their magnificent hosting. The two were also joined by Varun Dhawan for a time span. Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt won the Best Actor and Best Actress awards respectively for their spectacular roles in Udta Punjab. The event also featured a lot of wonderful performances by our favourite stars.
