A bumper collection of 1500 crore from 403 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh by BSP Supremo Mayawati went in vain after an announcement of PM Modi’s currency demonetization.
With the appreciable move by PM Modi to eliminate the black money from the Country, Mayawati seems to be quite upset and said the decision was a case of undeclared economic emergency in the country.

While addressing the media persons at a press conference in Lucknow, Mayawati said, PM MOdi’s decision is bit selfish, if they really wanted to control black money then why they took this decision after so many years.”
She further attacked at PM Modi, said, “To hide their inefficiency and economic emergency like the situation has been created by the government as the election in UP are close.”

The Prime while addressing to the nation on November 8, had announced that high denomination notes of Rs 500 and RS 1000 will not be legal tender from November 8 midnight. He had said that the government has affirmed the war against black money and its hoarders. On the other hand, People are appreciating the step taken by the PM Modi and taking this move as a hope for a corruption-free Country.
