She recently co-presented an award at the MTV EMA awards and now it is revealed that the actress will also be seen in the upcoming movie directed by renowned Iranian director Majid Majidi.

Deepika Padukone has been roped in for a major role in the movie. The famous movies directed by Majidi are The Children of Heaven, The Song of Sparrows. The Hindi movie – Bumm Bumm Bole starring Darsheel was also directed by this Iranian director.

The pictures were recently released on twitter and just can’t recognise the glamorous actress at first glance. For the moment nothing much has been revealed about the storyline of the movie or what Deepika’s role would be in it.
The pictures are taken at the dhobi ghat of Mumbai in which DP is seen in a whole new avatar where she is looking shabby. The film is said to be entirely set in India.
Deepika Padukone is currently shooting for Sanjay Bhansali’s next Padmavati starring her, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Kapoor. Padmavati is slated for release in 2017.
