The government has proved that the people of the nation are with it after got a huge support of demonetisation by the public on Prime Minister official app. To know what are there in people mind about government move, it has conducted a survey through the app and got a great response from the people. The government said 90 percent people who respond to the survey supported the demonetization of high-denomination notes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday sought public opinion on his official app, wherein questions were regarding the scrapping of Rs 500/1000 notes. Over five lakh people participated in the survey within 24hours.

On the other hand, PM Modi wrote on his twitter account, only two percent of those who participated rated the move as ‘very poor’. In response, the Congress called it a trumped-up survey with manufactured question and pre-fabricated answers by blind bhakts’.
“I thank people for the historic participation in the survey. It’s satisfying to read the insightful views and comments,” the Prime Minister said in a tweet. The survey said that about 86 per cent respondents believe that some “so-called anti-corruption activists” are now batting in support of black money and even terror financing.

What brings out of the survey?
In the survey through app where 10 questions were put on it, which were to be rated amid one and five stars. More than 90percent feel the government’s move to tackle black money is good for above four stars and more than 73 percent seemed full satisfied. For the question of inconvenience, 43 percent respondents did not mind the inconveniences caused so far, 48 percent said it was worth it and only 8 percent disliked the inconvenience.
66 percent of respondents think that move is beneficial to curb the black money and will bring the real state, education, and healthcare within common man reach, 27 percent partially agreed and six percent were not sure. Over 92 percent people rated the move as very good or good for its overall fight against corruption.

Congress termed a survey ‘Trumped Survey’
Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted: “Modi government manufactures yet another lie through self-serving survey on demonetisation. You can’t fool the people of India through such gimmicks.”
“A trumped-up survey manufactured questions and pre-fabricate answers by blind bhakts. Who cares for pain of common Indian?” Surjewala tweeted.
