“We are pretty much unconditionally ready for a debate in Parliament. The government is not allowing me to speak. I have personal information about PM Modi’s corruption. He is personally terrified. He cannot run away from the House,” said Rahul Gandhi.
“He has taken a decision against the poor of the country. He cannot keep running away from the House, he owes the country an explanation,” he added.
The government stated that it was ready to debate and indicated that PM Modi might speak in the Lok Sabha. But, the proceedings were yet again disrupted and the house was adjourned for the day.
Annoyed opposition wants to debate on Demonetization
