Let’s make it clearer for you, Rajkumar Rao has started working on his Hollywood project, 5 Weddings. It seems like Rajkummar Rao is on a film-signing spree. As he just had wrapped up ‘Bareily Ki Barfi’ with Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon.
5 Weddings, The Namrata Singh Gujral directorial also features Nargis Fakhri, Bo Derek and Candy Clark. Excited about the movie, Rajkumar said while talking with Filmfare that “Namrata saw some of my work on Netflix and other platforms following which I was approached to play the leading man who’s a cynical cop with Punjab Police.”
Rajkumar revealing about his equation with Nargis’ character said that “Harbhajan is assigned to escort Nargis’s character, an Indian girl raised in the US who has come down to India to do a magazine feature on Indian weddings. What had seemed like a simple assignment turns complicated thanks to this cop who is convinced it’s an espionage operation.”
