Arbaaz Khan had recently announced about the third instalment of his hit series ‘Dabangg’. And with that, many rumours too got aired that Sonakshi Sinha might not play her role of Chulbul Pandey’s wife Rajjo over a difference with the Khans. Even the Dabangg team remained quite over the speculations, maybe just to surprise the fans with the news of Sonakshi continuing to play her epic role in the series.
Yes, you got that very right. Sonakshi Sinha will continue playing the role of Rajjo in the series with Salman Khan as her husband, Chulbul Pandey. The news was confirmed by the director, who said, “Dabangg 3 is definitely a film we will be making. Hopefully, we will start its shoot somewhere around the end of next year. Hope for an Eid, 2018 release.”
He added, “There is a possibility that we might have someone else in the film, depending on the script, but how much a part will Sonakshi play that hasn’t been decided as of yet. But there will surely be changes to the cast in the film.”
It was even rumoured that Parineeti Chopra might play the role; Sonakshi had been playing in Dabangg 3. But now, it has all been confirmed and we will again see Salman and Sonakshi as the exquisite couple we love. Sonakshi also confirmed the news and said that the length of her role in the film didn’t matter and Rajjo’s role would only be enacted by her and no one else.
The differences between Salman and Sonakshi arose when Sonakshi refused to act in Arbaaz Khan’s ‘Dolly ki Doli’ that was later enacted by Sonam Kapoor. The two had a quarrel at Salman’s sister Arpita Khan’s wedding and got sour.
