Salman Khan Thums Up: Ever since Salman Khan joined Bigg Boss 10 as a host, the US beverage brand Coca-Cola has been re-thinking about its deal with Salman since the tv reality show hosted by him is co-sponsored by Parle Agro’s Appy Fizz. Since this would lead to a clash, the brand decided to end its contract with Salman Khan.

The other reason being the decline in demand for fizzy beverages in India which lead to high costs for the brand since Salman Khan charged it 7 crores approx for a single ad.
Salman Khan was committed to an existing relationship with a daily TV show, which this year happens to be sponsored by a brand that competes with the Coca-Cola India product portfolio.

He further added that owing to this, it has been mutually decided not to renew the contract that had already ended last month.
Salman Khan had been endorsing Coca Cola’s Thums up since last four years. But this is not the first time that Khan’s contract has been ended with this brand.
Earlier, when Salman Khan was surrounded by controversies of Hit and run case, his public image had become tainted after the felon Salman Khan was caught up in court hearings. So, the brand ended its contract with him.
It is expected that Salman Khan will be replaced by a fresh face and it is said that Ranveer Singh might become the next brand ambassador for Thums Up.
