Raj Kumar Hirani has begun the shooting for his upcoming venture, Sanjay Dutt Biopic. The movie has been in news for all the good and bad reasons, the tiff between Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Singh after the role assignment. As per reports, Sanjay Dutt wasn’t satisfied with Rajkumar Hirani’s choice of casting Ranbir.
And now, here comes the most striking information, that the biopic might clash with Salman Khan’s big Christmas release this year – Tiger Zinda Hai, which already has its opening date booked for December 22.

Sanjay Dutt Biopic: “Planning to Wrap Up in June”
Actress-producer Dia Mirza has joined the cast of actor Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, being helmed by Rajkumar Hirani. Dia shared the news on Twitter, saying she is happy to be on board for the project. She posted, “The happiest place in the world is on a Rajkumar Hirani film set. Sanjay Dutt biopic, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal.” Dia also shared an image of the cast cutting a cake together on the set.

Rajkumar Hirani has never failed to entertain mass audience with his movies. He is perhaps the only director with a 100% success rate with his directorial ventures.
Ranbir Singh is playing the protagonist and Sonam Kapoor is playing his lady love in Sanjay Dutt’s Biopic. Paresh Rawal has been roped in to play his late father, actor and politician Sunil Dutt and Anushka Sharma will be seen as a journalist. The movie is slated to release this Christmas.
