After 11 years, Shannen Doherty filed for divorce from her husband Kurt Iswarienko.
In an official statement, she stated,” Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted. Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option.”
Kurt Iswarienko and Shannen Doherty are parting ways. Iswarienko’s representative, according to Sloane, was “intimately involved” in their divorce, she further claims.
Doherty used social media earlier on Friday to post a cryptic tweet about love and life. She once stated on Instagram that “the only people who deserve to be in your life are the ones who treat you with love, kindness, and total respect.”
The couple separated in January, according to the divorce file that TMZ was able to get. Doherty is asking for spouse support but does not want her estranged photographer spouse to receive it. There are no children between the couple.
Doherty gave unknown statement on Instagram a few hours before word of the filing spread. The statement, which was also published to her Instagram Story, stated that the only people who deserve to be in your life are those that treat you with love, kindness, and complete respect.
In October 2011, Doherty and Iswarienko became husband and wife. Previously, the actress had been married to Rick Salomon from 2002 to 2003 and Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994.
