This was the second time when the airline company has refused to confirm his ticket. After he beaten up the Air India staffer with sandal, he was complete banned by industry association of airlines.
“Gaikwad is reaching Delhi by car today but will not attend the day’s proceedings of the Lok Sabha,” sources close to the beleaguered Osmanabad MP told PTI.
Shiv Sena may not allow him to travel by car to attend Parliament session
Sources said if the party leadership allows him to travel by car, he will attend tomorrow’s session. The development came after Gaikwad apparently booked a seat from Hyderabad to Delhi on Flight AI 551 for today, which was cancelled by the national carrier.
The MP booked a seat yesterday on the 8 AM flight, AI 806, from Mumbai to Delhi for today, but his ticket was on the spot cancelled by the company. He was earlier reported to have booked a train ticket in AC 3tier coach of Rajdhani Express, later he chose to go by road.
