The movie’s plot deals with the story of a Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra Brave Indian Soldier, of the 13th Jammu and Kashmir battalion who sacrificed his life during the Kargil war in 1990. He fearlessly chaised Pakistani soldiers from accross the Indian bordersand continued immensly
Presently, Shershaah sits at an 8.9/10 rating on IMDB and it is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
Having said that, Sidharth Malhotra expressed on Instagram to celebrate the achievement and wrote he was “feeling on the top of the world.” He further added that the rating on IMDB was because of everyone who supported the film and making it so “special and memorable” for me.
The twin brother of Vikram Batra, Vishal Batra has also complimented Sidharth for getting into the skin of his brother’s character in a perfect way.
To put things into perspective, Shershaah tops the chart by beating other Hindi movies like Black Friday, 3 Idiots amongst others.
