Three women were allegedly gang-raped by the six armed men in a brick kiln after holding other workers hostage in Rabupura, Greater Noida in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The incident happened in Karaoli village around 12.30am when all the workers were sleeping in makeshift rooms nearby brick kiln. A Fir has been registered against unknown armed persons.
Overpowered attackers held them hostage
As per the information, the accused arrived at the brick Kiln posing as policemen. They told the workers that they had come to check premises as they had got the complaints of illegal activities there. As soon as the workers opened the doors, the attackers overpowered them and held them hostage.
The owner of the brick kiln Tejpal Singh said there were seven workers-four men and three women at this factory at night. They were staying in rooms nearby the factory. Around 12.30am some armed men came to the factory and said they were policemen and they wanted to examine the place because they had received information that we were producing illegal liquor at the spot” said Singh.

The accused took women to another place and locked the men in one room. The men gang-raped women aged of around 25, 30 and 40. The six armed men trying to touch women inappropriately asked them to lie down on the bed. When they refused, they forced themselves, said a victim. When one woman resisted, she was beaten up badly. The accused also robbed their jewelry, cash, and other valuable things before they fled from the spot. A team of police reached the spot at 2.30 by then accused had already escaped.
