SP leader Azam Khan: Samajwadi party leader and MLA from Rampur Azam Khan has surrounded with controversies after his alleged burst at a government officer for not entering his car into the counting center. The entire incident was caught on camera which was installed nearby the center.
During the day of counting, he came at center to collect his certificate, but he reportedly had to walk through muddy road. He had even lashed out at the sub-divisional magistrate, threatening him multiple times.

“The election code of conduct is in place right now, but it will be off in a few days and then, I’ll take action against you,” Khan is heard saying in the video footage to Abhay Kumar Gupta, the Sub Divisional magistrate of Rampur Sadar.
The official is seen hanging his head as the controlled fury of the former minister washed over him. “Is this why I brought you here? You were lying in some garbage dump… you had cried and asked for a transfer. You change colours this easily?” Mr Khan, accompanied his aides, is heard saying in the video.

The official is yet to register a complaint. The former minister in the Akhilesh Yadav government, Khan is no stranger to controversy. UP police had a sleepless night when Khan’s buffaloes had lost three years ago. He had suspended three police officers for dereliction of duty for failing to find out the lost bovines, he also blamed media for making too much of the matter.
The controversies of former minister don’t end with buffaloes as his terrible comments over gang-rape of a woman and her teenage daughter in Bulandshehr had also blown up the rage of activists and the civil society.
