State Bank of India: In a shocking incident that came to light on Wednesday A state Bank of India SBI ATM located in Sangam Vihar area of Delhi dispensed multiple far notes of Rs 2000.
The notes were dispensed by the ATM on February 6 printed in which Children Bank of India had printed on them instead of Reserve Bank of India.

Other differences on the notes include a churan label on the right side and Guaranteed by the children’s Government written where it should say Guaranteed by the Central Government. The notes dispensed by the ATM on which a fake PK Logo was also appeared
Rohit called Vinod Yadav, a resident of Sangam Vihar on February 6 and informed him that he had got fake currency notes of Rs 2000 were being dispensed by the SBI ATM. When Vinod saw fake notes, he rushed to the police officers who refused to believe it initially.
After that, one of the police officers withdrew a note from the Same SBI’s ATM himself and it was proved that Rohit’s allegations were true after all. The police officer also got the fake note dispensed from the same ATM. Police have registered case and initiate a probe in the issue.

The notes of Rs 500 and Rs 100 were scrapped after an announcement of demonetization by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8. Thereafter, Reserve Bank of India had issued new currency of Rs 500 and Rs 2000. There were also rumors of the return of Rs 1000 denomination in new avatar.
Earlier, on Wednesday, the, the Economic Affairs Secretary Shaktikanta Das cleared that the government and RBI are not planning to introduce the Rs 1,000 denomination in the market. A picture of a blue colour note of Rs 1,000 was doing rounds on the social media claiming it was the new avatar of Rs 1000 note. However, Shaktikanta Das today put all such rumours to rest.
